Sea Candy's journey began when the family of one of our founders recommended we try this unique product . We were skeptical at first , as we had never heard of anything like it , but we quickly realized the value and importance of Sea Moss .

After trying it ourselves , we were convinced to share our experiences with friends and acquaintances . We wanted to tell them about the positive benefits of including Sea Moss in our daily diet , as it is rich in most of the vitamins and minerals the body needs to function optimally .
After just a few weeks we noticed major improvements , such as increased energy , a stronger immune system and better digestion . That 's why we 're here ! Now we want to help you experience the same positive effects that we have had .

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Here you will find answers to the most frequently asked questions about our products.

  • We send out orders on Mondays. We also send out on Tuesdays, only for those living in Oslo/Akershus.

  • Store the jar in the fridge and keep it at a temperature below 4 degrees to keep it cool. If you know you won't finish the jar by the expiry date, you can freeze the sea moss gel which will keep for up to 2 months. You can also pour the gel into ice trays. You can use the ice cubes in the drink or thaw them in the fridge overnight.

  • The jars have a shelf life of 30 days. Lime flavor has a shelf life of 20 days. Ginger & Lemon has a shelf life of 14 days.

  • We recommend 1-2 tablespoons of Sea Moss daily. Feel free to start with 1 tablespoon a day, and increase to 2 tablespoons after a week if it suits you.

  • Sea Moss is a natural source of minerals and can be a good supplement as part of a varied and balanced diet.

  • Yes! It acts as an antibacterial agent that helps to clear acne and breakouts.​​Sea Moss nourishes the skin and makes it stronger with all the minerals it contains, so that it stays tight and healthy. If your skin is irritated, applying golden and purple sea moss can soothe it.

  • Many of our customers experience the effect after a few weeks by including 1-2 tablespoons of Sea Moss in their daily routine. For some, it takes 3-4 weeks before they notice the difference.

  • Our Sea Moss is harvested and dried in Trinidad and Jamaica.

  • Sea Moss can be eaten straight from the spoon, mixed into smoothies, used in cooking or added to tea. In addition, you can mix Sea Moss and a drink of your choice with Sea Candy mixer if you want it quick and easy.

  • The difference between purple and golden Sea Moss is that Purple contains anthocyanins and 5 times more antioxidants. Both contain 92 minerals and belong to the same family.
